the shadows flickered and moved oddly within the massive trees of the Timber Wolf forest. It was night. And a herd of villagers were making their way through the woods and into the heart of it. There was an enormous full moon hovering just above the trees that framed the forest. It cast a large silver blue light strong enough to throw shadows and made everything look like it was underwater, an impression that was strengthened by the gentle breeze blowing the soft grasses against the villagers bare ankles in sweeps and whirls like waves lapping sweetly against a shore. That same wind was lifting leaves from the ground, blowing in the direction the village people were walking, guiding them like using a star to guide shepherds.
Suddenly they stopped at the edge of a massive lake, and each one of them was trying to squint so they could get a closer look at what was going on in the darkness. In the heart of the lake, just in front of the shadows of the trees, a s

Prologue, A Memory of Anguish.
Hassan Higurashi, my dad. The most wonderful man in the world.
Born 15th September 1954.
I was too young to remember what happened the day he died, I was only a child with a curious mind living in a massive world with so much to explore. The thought of my dad leaving the planet - leaving me and my mum to fend for ourselves in this life - never occurred to me. Again, I was so very young, too small to understand what it meant to have someone close to you die in an accident.
I remember one time when I was five years old, I climbed up the steep steps of our house and crept closer to my mum’s bedroom where I heard the sound of pages turning. I left the stairs behind me, peering my little head around the door. My mum was comfortably perched on the end of her king sized bed, with her head down and looking through some sort of book that was bigger than her lap. As I entered her head jerked up in alarm, but as her eyes settl

She could feel it, the wind. It was there, the wind tickling her cheeks. The sun rays seeping through the trees, illuminating her face. She smiled as the quiet sounds of the forest filled her ears. She was happy, for once, for a long time.
RING RING RING
Kagome's eyes shot open as her alarm clock deafened her ears, groaning from her sleep, she got up and switched off the alarm. A sigh escaped her lips, once again she was up in her normal bed, in her normal house, in her normal life.
Grudgingly she got out of bed and brushed her long messy hair, from when she was 15 to now, it had fell down to her elbows, unfortunately, it had become quite a pain for her brush it.
Once she had done that, she got washed and dressed and left the house to go to work. Yeah, work, well she was 25 after all, she had to work. She worked in the busy city of Tokyo, among the noise and the traffic. She did like her job, it involved working with children which she enjoyed ve

My Awkward Valentine
An Inuyasha and Kagome One-Shot
Ah, Valentine’s Day. The only day where one could give candy or a card in the shape of a heart to someone one is interested in without having it to be embarrassing or awkward. Kagome held a large yellow bag of chocolate in one hand and happily skipped down the stairs. The young school-girl was certain of one thing.
This Valentine’s Day was going to be the best one out of her entire seven years of life.

3 years, 3 agonizing long years. It was impossible to even consider. Three years without her, three years with out him.
Ever since he had saved her from the endless darkness, and returned her home, he never got to say goodbye before the well sealed off. And now, he was alone, waiting, hoping the well would reopen, he needed to see her again, just one more time.
For those three long years, Inuyasha spent most of his days hunting the stray demon with Miroku, helping him perform exorcisms and the such. Although he was reasonably busy, and did have friends, he had never felt more alone.
He longed for her, needed her, he loved her.
To share a long awaited, blissful kiss, only to be separated for an agonizing long period of time.
Every 3 days, Inuyasha would go the well, just to check, waiting to smell her scent, to see her face once more. To be with her once again
Back in the modern day, Kagome spent her days lost in the midst of her school work
The End's Illusion, Chapter 2Chapter 2, Let It Burn. The End's Illusion, Chapter 2 by EscapingDreamer
Since the beginning Inuyasha knew the outcome of this was going to be bad. There was no arguing over the fact that demons were brutal but one this cunning was something completely abnormal, and dangerous.
An overwhelming possessiveness hit him the moment he was back in the present. His first instinct was to check if Kagome by his side, which she wasn’t. Inuyasha’s eyes expanded and his entire body leapt up in panic. He whipped his head around searching through the evergreen of Timberwood Forest - between the tree and hidden in the leaves, but still, there was no sign of the young girl.
Inuyasha remembered watching the scene change. Stun and confusion littered his mind. He saw Kagome look down at the man she just saved, then back at him as if trying to tell them apart. Her features shifted from relief, and even a glimmer of happiness - into mortal terror. Kagome cried out his name, her voice full of anguish piercing his heart. At the same time

Before read I'd like to clarify something about the following text.
My native language isn't English and this story was originally written in Spanish.
I want to share it with more people so I have started to traslate it.
Because I'm very good reading but never wrote any text, I'm trying my best to traslate it correctly.
A very good friend of mine helps me correcting it but now she dissappeared. I missed her so much
If anyone could help me, I'd be grateful

Broken Soul Chapter 35Chapter Thirty-Five: HangingBroken Soul Chapter 35 by InuYashaReader
The darkness was damp, and lonely. InuYasha felt the heavy eyes look around. Whatever Inuhidoi had done was over now. InuYasha tried to shake off the floating darkness that surrounded him, why? Why was he stuck like this? Trapped in his own body, forced to endure the pain of hurting the people he had sworn to protect.
In the world of his own mind, InuYasha had finally had gone under his own skin. It was only a matter of time now. He couldn’t endure the pain of Tessaiga; endure to see into Kagome’s eyes, or even Miroku and Sango’s for that matter. Kouga would never forgive him for what he did to Kagome, nor would he ever forget. Sesshomaru never accepted him anyway, but if he went back to the way he was would Sesshomaru just end his life? Sesshomaru was family, I guess, but would he have any heart to kill him? InuYasha was hoping to see that cold stare from his onii; it would prevent anything like this from happening.

Sesshomaru glared at the now unconscious miko. “Please Inuhidoi…your family.” It was the last thing she said until her human body gave out to the intense heat. Sesshomaru had been felling his skin begin to burn slightly. He wasn’t going to last much longer in this ring of fire.
Holding the unconscious miko in his arm, he flew up into the air. Her weight was barley a factor; she weighed nothing to the Youkai Lord. The sky was much clearer up here, and Sesshomaru found it easier to breathe in the stale air, then the scouring flames of Hell.
The miko whimpered in his arm, her breathing was slow and jagged. Sesshomaru could smell her burning flesh from miles away, but since she was so close, it made him wrinkle his nose. Humans had no effect on him, why was he reacting to her injuries in a way?
Sesshomaru flew over, his search was now intended for Rin, but her cent had been lost. Sesshomaru felt his anger rise, where was Rin?

Sango blinked, searing pain embedded her already injured arm. 'Oh houshi,' Sango thought, 'Where are you?'
Sango suddenly felt a low whine come from her right, to find a small Kirara, curled up a ball, her two tails twitched and her tongue lapping what looked like a very wide wound.
Sango suddenly felt a small movement from under her and grabbed at empty air, reaching for Hiraikotsu that just wasn’t there. Sango closed her eyes, she didn’t want to die. Her breathing came out in low gasps, wheezing in spite of the small amount of blood leaking from her mouth.
The small voice took the exterminator off guard. The movement from under her finally wiggled itself out and she was staring into two brown eyes.
Sango closed her eyes; she really didn’t want to look. Sango was able to control her emotions when it came to fighting youkai. No mat

By the end of the week Inuyasha was back in class and working overtime to get his missed work in. He was thankful when the end of the week finally arrived and everyone showed up as usual for their Friday night get together. As per the rotation it was Inuyasha and Kagome’s night to make pizza, Sango and Miroku’s night for the movie, and Koga and Ayame’s night for beer.
After class Kagome and Inuyasha had rushed home to spot clean the apartment then shower before everyone arrived and they had to put the pies together. Kagome got in first, Inuyasha following closely behind. She grabbed the shower poof to wash him up since it was her turn to do the washing but he surprised her by taking it from her and having her turn around so he could wash her back. The talked about their day, and caught up, enjoying their time alone. When Kagome turned around she offered Inuyasha her right hand for him to wash, then her left. He was so smooth s

Kikyo’s opportunity came later in the semester when the first cold snap moved through. Almost everyone on campus fell ill in some way or another, from a runny nose to all out flu symptoms that cause many students to stay home. Luckily for her, the day Inuyasha stayed home sick was on a day he had the same classes with Kagome, so she knew his schedule completely. And with Kagome stuck on campus all day, she knew she would rush home right after her last class to take care of him. If she timed it just right, her plan would work perfectly.
She had a good feeling Kagome would rush home after her last class ended, which was at 4 pm. Typically, it would take about 15 minutes for her to drive home, but people were starting to get off work or leave campus, which would make her commute about 15 to 20 minutes longer. So if Kikyo got to their house at 4 o’clock that gave her enough time to chat Inuyasha up, then put her plan into action. And sh

For the next week Kikyo still made her drop ins throughout the day, but now she was showing up at times when Inuyasha wasn’t with Kagome. On Tuesday and Thursday their schedules didn’t mesh, but they still came to and from campus together. Kikyo used this to her advantage, figuring out where he would be when he wasn’t in class on those two days. And like the week before she tried to make it seem like it was casual encounters, trying to feel Inuyasha out when she met him. Gaging his reactions as friendly, she didn’t push her luck until the next week, still attending the Friday night festivities so everyone would know she wasn’t going anywhere.
At the beginning of the third week after running into Inuyasha and Kagome for the first time, Kikyo showed up in the library where they were studying. Sitting down at their table across from Inuyasha she put her satchel down in the chair next to her. “Fancy seeing you guys her
